The Ocean Collection will always have a special place in my MOSS story. It was one of the first collections I created with my new dressmaker’s  in Bali, and I seriously was so excited seeing the pieces come together for the first time.
There is something about this collection that felt like the beginning of a new chapter for MOSS. The designs, the fabrics, the colours and the whole process of bringing the collection to life in Bali made me incredibly happy and proud.
Inspired by the ocean 🌊
The collection was inspired by the colours and feeling of the coast, with fresh white, ocean blues, sandy neutrals and our beautiful Aztec-inspired prints.
It was designed around easy pieces that could be thrown into a suitcase and worn through a whole holiday, from breezy dresses and jumpsuits to relaxed shirts and lightweight separates.
Light, easy & made for warm weather
We used linen, rayon and cotton fabrics that felt light and breathable, perfect for warm days, beach walks and long lunches by the water.
Looking back, this collection was also the beginning of something really important for MOSS. Working closely with my dressmaker’s in Bali gave me the opportunity to be much more involved in the design and production process, and it made me even more excited about where MOSS could go.
A little piece of the MOSS story
The Ocean Collection captured everything I loved about those early MOSS days, sunshine, the sea, beautiful fabrics and that relaxed feeling of being somewhere warm.
It is always special looking back at the collections that helped shape the brand, and The Ocean was definitely one of those for me.
